sound的三种用法

1、sound作名词，意为“声音”，有可数和不可数两种用法。

2、sound作连系动词，意为“听起来”，“听上去(给人以某种印象)”，常接形容词作表语，不接副词。还可接名词，介词短语或从句。

3、sound作及物动词，意为“发出声音”、“发(音)”；作不及物动词，意为“发声”、“响”。

4、sound作形容词，表示“健康的”、“完好的”、“正确的”、“彻底的”等含义。

sound：

1、Peter heard the sound of gunfire

2、The aeroplane will travel at twice the speed of sound.
